After securing a job at his uncle's arms factory Stanley Windrush gets caught up in a dispute between the factory bosses and its trade union official. But the star of the show is Peter Sellers, in one of his most famous roles as the Russia-obsessed ("all them cornfields and ballet in the evenings") trade union official Fred Kite.
